About

MindPlay

MindPlay is a free, open-access cognitive training platform — 14 browser-based mini-games designed to challenge your memory, logic, focus, and reaction time. No account. No ads. No paywall. Just play.

What MindPlay is

Each game on MindPlay is grounded in cognitive science research. Color Memory tests visual working memory. The Stroop Test measures selective attention and cognitive flexibility. Reaction Grid benchmarks raw visual reaction time. Sudoku and Nonogram build deductive reasoning.

The Cognitive Profile (mindplay.dev/profile) tracks five cognitive attributes — memory, logic, focus, processing speed, and spatial reasoning — using an exponential moving average across your sessions, so consistent practice matters more than a single standout run.

MindPlay is not a music player. It is a cognitive brain-training game suite for anyone who wants to measure and improve their mental performance.

Why it's free

Cognitive training tools are often hidden behind subscriptions. MindPlay is built on the belief that mental fitness tools should be accessible to everyone. All 14 games are permanently free. Future optional features — leaderboards, cross-device sync, team modes — will be add-ons, not gatekeepers.

Who built it

MindPlay is an independent project built by Parag Yadav, a software engineer interested in the intersection of cognitive science and product design. It is not affiliated with any university, research institution, or health provider.

The same team also built Audio Note — an AI voice-to-text tool for turning chaotic ideas into structured notes.
